The Hooters brand has for many years been a part of the motorcycle culture. Wings, beer, and girls have always been a good combination and an easy excuse to stop after a long hard day in the saddle. It only made sense that somehow there needed to be a more direct tie to bikers rather than just an occasional restaurant bike night and various corporate motorcycle sponsorships.

In June of 2005, a group of closely associated Hooters loyalist and motorcyclist approached Hooters with the idea of building and selling a limited number of licensed Hooters themed custom motorcycles. The group already had close ties with Hooters and the partnership was soon formed under the company name of Metal Madness INC. Much like the original Hooters six, the Hooters Motorcycle group comes from all different walks of life. An ex golf professional, a thirty year retired army veteran, a construction superintendent and a practicing attorney.

The companies’ concept is to produce a limited number of custom bikes under the Hooters Motorcycle brand while also developing a distinguishable line of Hooters Motorcycle apparel and accessories. There are already two models available with a third scheduled for release in the Fall of ‘07. The goal is to release a new model each year at the Hooters Annual International Swimsuit Competition. The custom cycles are taking approximately fourteen to sixteen weeks for delivery. The Hooters Motorcycle Company looks forward to contributing positively to the industry and hope to make some noise with their ideas and philosophies. They intend to live by there slogan “Ridin High – Flyin Low” and will be participating in most rallies and bike shows across the country.

Metal Madness INC is the official licensee for Hooters Motorcycles and Hooters Motorcycle apparel and accessories. The company is located at 550 Hwy # 9 Unit G, Longs, SC, two miles west of North Myrtle Beach, SC. Hooters of America, Inc. is the franchiser and operator of over 410 Hooters restaurants in 46 states and 16 foreign countries. The first Hooters opened in 1983 in Clearwater, Florida. Hooters is well known for its brand of food and fun, featuring a casual beach-theme atmosphere, a menu that features seafood, sandwiches and Hooters’ signature chicken wings, and service provided by the All-American cheerleaders, the Hooters Girls.
